Welcome to the ramblings of a suburban stay at home mom to two kids, one of whom just happens to be living in Taiwan at the moment. This all started out as a simple adoption blog, which I quickly hijacked from my family and made all about what I thought! Shocking, I know. I still discuss the ongoing adoption of our son Zack from Taiwan...but I have so much more to say....

He has 2 upper and 2 lower teeth.
Zack will be 1 year old on Sunday, June 18th. Chris and I KNOW that it is going to be a hard day for us and are trying to think of somthing to do that day to keep our spirits up. Any Ideas?

He is just getting cuter and cuter! I am sure that you just can't wait to get him home to his family.
He sure is handsome. Hopefully he will be home real soon. I can't wait for you to have him in your arms.
omg... Amanda, he is just so beautiful!
maybe you could have a combo baby shower-birthday party... or maybe Luke could do something special for his little brother... plant a rosebush or name a star...
I hope you have your travel approval SOON!
Oh my! He's soooo beautiful!

Ps summer is aproaching and we need things to DO! We'll come up!
Ooooo, I love new Zack pictures. Too cute.
Celebrating his birthday without him will be hard for you -- sending you big hugs. Can you do a small family celebration here for him and also send him a cool care package?
aww.... he is so cute.
Zack looks so grown up in that top picture! I can't believe that he is almost 1. I hope that you will receive travel news soon.

He is so handsome! I hope that you get your travel news soon. I did not remember that Zack and I share the same b-day! Maybe you could have a small celebration in his honor and then you will have pictures to show him later on. I saw that a family adopting from China took a picture on the Great Wall with party hats, cake and presents holding a sign for their daughter. Take Luke to pick out something just for baby brother. What ever you end up doing, it will be a hard day. I'll be thinking about you.
He really is a cute little guy! I hope you get to bring him home soon.
